Our daily schedule integrates both more structured group activities with time when children can make their own choices. Please note that morning sessions may not be offered every year, depending on the Kindergarten class schedule.
Morning K-Care sample daily schedule
Choice Time
8:48-9:50 |
This is less structured time where children may engage in a number of activities laid out by the teachers or develop their own. |
Get Together
9:50-10:00 |

Group Time
10:00-10:50 |
This more structured period is where teachers lead activivities related to the week's focal point. |
Rest Time
10:50-11:50 |
This is a quiet time, where children lie on their mats and we read chapter books. Children do not have to sleep, but they must stay on their mats and engage in quiet activities so that others may nap. |
Story
11:50-12pm |

Lunch & Choice
12pm-12:30 |
Children can bring lunches with them, or purchase a lunch from the school cafeteria (by arrangement with the school). |
