 | Laura Stidham - Executive Director
Laura has been at CDC since 1995. She began her career as a student teacher in our program and was hired as a teacher upon graduating from EMU with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She then became director of school age programs until March 2003 when she was promoted to executive director. Laura completed her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from EMU in April 2007. |
 | Audrey Miller - Preschool Program Director
Audrey has been at CDC since 1995, as a teacher for seven years and as the program director since 2001. She has a bachelor's degree in family life education with an elementary and secondary teaching certificate. |
 | Kristie Hornbeck - Preschool Teacher
Kristie joined our staff in January, 2005 as a student teacher. Upon her graduation from EMU in April 2005 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, she joined our staff. Kristie is beginning her third year as the teacher of the 2 1/2 year old children. |
 | Stephanie Huehl - Preschool Teacher
Stephanie joined CDC in August 2007 after graduating from EMU in April 2007. She completed her student teaching at CDC during the winter and received her degree in Elementary Education with minors in reading, math and early childhood education. Stephanie has been working with children in a variety of settings for the past seven years. |
 | Scott Schmitt - Preschool Teacher
Scott began his career at CDC in 1995 as a student teacher in our kindergarten program. Upon graduation from EMU with a degree in Early Childhood Education he joined our staff as a teacher of the three to four year olds. Scott returned to CDC in 2005 after spending a few years at home with his three children. This year Scott is the morning teacher and will be welcoming everyone with a big smile daily. |
 | Lindsay Wheeler - Permanent Sub
Lindsay has been at CDC since 2002. She began as our full time aide; this year Lindsay will be our permanent sub. Lindsay is attending Washtenaw Community College to finish her degree in early childhood education. |
 | Stacy Wolverton - Preschool Teacher
Stacy has been a member of our staff since 2002 as an aide in the program before becoming the kindergarten teacher in 2004. She graduated from EMU in 2005 and was our permanent sub. Stacy is now the pre-k teacher. |
 | Diana Zima - Preschool Teacher
Diana joined the CDC staff in August 2007 after graduating from EMU in April 2007. She has a degree in Elementary Education with majors in Social Studies and Math. Prior to CDC, Diana has worked as a lead teacher in a before and after school program and as a summer day camp counselor. Diana currently has the afternoon-only group of children. |
| | Natasha Blair - Part-time Aide
Tasha joined our staff in September 2007 as our morning aide opening daily with Scott. Tasha is a U of M graduate majoring in Spanish. She also has a music minor and teaches piano lessons as well. Tasha has previous child care experience in a day care home in the Ann Arbor area. Tasha will be returning to school in June to pursue her secondary teaching certificate. |
 | Beth Fitzgerald - Teacher Aide
Beth has been a teacher aide at CDC since 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Psychology. This year Beth is with Kristie during group time. Beth plans to return to school to obtain her early childhood education degree. |
 | Lauren Thompson - Part-time Aide
Lauren has worked at CDC since June 2005 and will continue on this fall as our afternoon aide. She is currently a student in elementary education at EMU. Before working at our preschool, Lauren worked with school age children in our Lawton Kids Club program. |
