Both programs use choice-based play to encourage curiosity, creativity, and active learning. Central Ann Arbor · Burns Park
House Preschool serves children ages 2½–5 in a house designed entirely around them, with open classrooms, kid-sized spaces, and a spacious outdoor play area. Children also explore the Burns Park neighborhood through educator-guided walks and visits to nearby playgrounds.

Southwest Ann Arbor
Forest Preschool serves children ages 2½–5 in bright classrooms surrounded by 45 acres of fields, trails, gardens, and playgrounds. Children explore nature and learn through active indoor and outdoor play.
Forest also offers GSRP Free Pre-K for eligible children. Availability and enrollment requirements vary; our team can explain current options during your tour.

A full day of care. Open from 7:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.
Flexible schedules. We offer full-week, partial, and mornings-only options.

Potty training is not required. Children do not need to be potty-trained before joining our programs.
Outdoor play every day. Children go outside multiple times each day, year-round, except when weather or air-quality conditions make outdoor play unsafe.
Educator consistency. We are proud of our high retention rate; our teachers stay with us for years. We value and deeply respect our teachers and the critical role they play in our community.
